Beth Chapman who alongside her husband Duane “Dog” Chapman starred in the popular reality series “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” has died. She Was 51 years of age.
She died in a Honolulu hospital early hours on wednesday after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was recently placed in a medically induced coma while she battled cancer.
Her husband took to social media to share the sad news:
“It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain,” he tweeted. “Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”
Before her demise, Beth Chapman told the star advertiser newspaper earlier in the year that she is going to fight back and bounce back to health.
“I’m a fighter, I’m a strong fighter — big-time survivor — and I’m gonna fight this as vigorously as it’s fighting me,” she said.
In September 2017, Beth announced that she’d been diagnosed with stage II throat cancer. By December of that same year Chapman was cancer-free. only for the cancer to return last November until she finally succumbed to the cold hands of death despite her struggles.
She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, four children Dominic, Cecily, Bonnie Jo and Garry. The latter 2 she had with husband Dog, and 14 grandchildren.
