Breaking:Abuja National stadium renamed after MKO Abiola

Today June 12 marks the first public holiday to mark democracy day in Nigeria, this day reminds Nigerians of the freest and fairest election ever held in the history of the Nation.

It reminds all Nigerian of the fallen hero Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola of blessed memory who was the presumed winner of that election held in 1993, and annulled  by former military leader, Ibrahim Babangida.


Today,being the first democracy day celebration President  Muhammadu Buhari has renamed the Abuja national stadium, it is now to be known forthwith as  MKO Abiola stadium.
