Marshall Bruce Mathers Jr., Eminem’s father has died at the age of 67.
The rapper’s father, died earlier this week near Fort Wayne Indiana, from a heart attack while at home according to family sources.
Eminem, was known to have a troubled relationship with his estranged father and would often mention him in his music.
His hit songs like “My Name Is” and “Cleanin’ Out My Closet” exposed the kind of relationship existing between father and son.
He raps “My fa***t father must’ve had his panties up in a bunch ‘Cause he split, I wonder if he even kissed me goodbye,” he rapped on the track. “No, I don’t, on second thought, I just f**kin’ wished he would die. I look at Hailie, and I couldn’t picture leavin’ her side.”
Despite his father’s moves to have them both reconciled, Eminem never seem to have that interest.
