12-year-old Shot and Killed 10-year-old Brother In Texas

A Texas family was thrown into mourning when their 12 year old son shot and killed his 10 year old  brother. the older sibling allegedly had access to a gun and shot his brother on the chest authorities confirmed on Sunday.

The 12 year old was charged for murder.

The name of the 12 year old who was charged in the case was not released;his brother who he shot dead was not named as well.

The Ugly incidence occurred  on Saturday afternoon at a home in a rural area in Conroe, about 50 miles south of Houston.

According to Lt. Scott Spencer of the sheriff’s office  in a  statement on Sunday:

“Based on the investigation conducted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, a 12-year-old sibling has been charged with murder and is currently in custody in the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility,”.

Spencer stated that security operatives  were called to a home in Conroe about 2:40 p.m. local time on Saturday,were they  found a boy suffering from a single bullet wound to the chest. He said the boy was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Questions as to how the shooter got the weapon went unanswered by  Sheriff’s officials,they declined to say where the juvenile homicide suspect obtained the weapon used in killing his Brother.

Homicide cases involving minor is quiet common in the US.

According to available report,this shooting marked at least the third time in seven months that a minor  has been investigated in a homicide in the United States.
