Beckham Banned For Use Of Cell Phone While Driving

Former England footballer David Beckham was on Thursday banned for driving for six months after he was noticed to be using his phone while behind the wheel.

The 44-year-old football star and  husband to Victoria could not deny the allegation  after being spotted by a  concerned member of the public who promptly reported his unethical  behaviour to the authorities,

The incidence happened on November 21 of last year in London as he drove his Bentley.

The hearing on the matter was held at the Bromley Magistrates Court in South London with the ex-Manchester United player in attendance.

He was given six penalty points on his licence, which automatically disqualifies him from driving.

This isn’t  the first time Beckham had experienced such, just Last year Beckham avoided a previous charge of speeding because of a technicality.

Beckham accepted that he failed to adhere to the stipulated speed limit, he instead drove at 59 miles (95 kilometres) per hour in a 40 mph zone in London in January of last year.

But the notice of his prosecution was not received until one day after the statutory 14-day time limit.
