Behold the queen: Miss North Carolina Crowned Miss USA 2019


A new Miss  USA has been crowned, Cheslie Kryst  was crowned Miss USA 2019 on Thursday night.

The winner  Cheslie Kryst is a full time attorney licensed to practice in two states and represents prison inmates for free.

This year’s contestants were a bevy of outstanding and accomplished women with very sound thoughts on trending issue.

Each question, they tackled with a high level of intelligence,and they proved to be in turn with issues at stake as highlighted by their well thought out answers.

Asked about her thoughts on  the Me Too and Times off movement,she has this to say:

“I don’t think these movements have gone too far. What me too and times up are about are making sure that we foster safe and inclusive workplaces in our country,” Kryst said. “As an attorney, that’s exactly what I want to hear, and that’s exactly what I want for this country. I think they’re good movements.”

Second runner up was Miss Oklahoma Triana Browne and Miss New Mexico Alejandra Gonzalez was named first runner-up.

This year’s finalists were an array of  not just beautiful but very intelligent women.

Miss New Mexico’s speech about immigration is a perfect example of how intelligent they are.

She has this to say:

“I think that there’s so many people out there wanting the American dream, and my parents immigrated here from Monterrey, Mexico,” Gonzalez explained. “And I am their representation of their American dream.”

 The new Miss USA enjoys tremendous   support  and she’s  over the moon,but she has also promised to use her platform to continue empowering women.

“Mine is the first generation to have that forward-looking mind-set that has inclusivity, diversity, and strength and empowered women,” Kryst said. “I’m looking forward to continued progress with my generation” she says.
