COVID-19: UAE prime minister praises medical team after he was injected with trial vaccine

As many nations struggle to have a vaccine for the dreaded COVID19, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on Tuesday, revealed that he was injected with COVID-19 trial vaccine produced by the UAE medical teams.

However, it couldn’t be ascertained if the said vaccine has the backing of the World Health Organisation(WHO). He also didn’t reveal his Covid19 status

Sharing a photo on Twitter of medical personnel injecting him  @HHShkMohd,  said the teams worked relentlessly to make the vaccine available.

The PM wrote, “While receiving the COVID-19 vaccine today. We wish everyone safety and great health, and we are proud of our teams who have worked relentlessly to make the vaccine available in the UAE. The future will always be better in the UAE.”
