Crossdresser in Cameroun incarcerated over alleged involvement in homosexualism


A popular  Cameroonian crossdresser identified as Shakiro and two other men has been sentenced to prison over their alleged involvement in homosexualism.

According to a report by the Cameroonian News Agency, the court of first instance in Ndokotti Douala on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, charged and found them guilty for engaging in homosexual activities.

The three men have been incarcerated at the New Bell Central Prison, Douala.

Cameroon News Agency had reported that Shakiro had been arrested and released on several occasions on this same charge.

Homosexuality is a crime in Cameroon.
