The first presidential debate between US President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden was held on Wednesday morning, September 30.
Fox News anchor, Chris Wallace moderated the debate which took place in Ohio.
During the feisty debate, Trump refused to condemn White Supremacists telling them to ‘stand down and stand by’.
He claimed he paid millions in federal income taxes after a New York Times report alleged he paid just $750 as income tax in 2016 and 2017 as the two candidates attacked each other viciously.
Trump also brought up drug addiction allegations against Biden’s son, Hunter, while Biden said he will accept the outcome of the election no matter the results.
The way and manner both candidates attacked each other during the debate left social media users in awe, with Trump mostly ignoring the guidelines set by moderator Chris Wallace.
