Diezani Madueke’s Jewellery Worth $40-Million Finally Forfeited To FG

Jewelry worth $40 million belonging to the former minister of Petroleum Resources Diezani Madueke has finally been forfeited to the Federal Government.

Justice Nicholas Oweibo  on Tuesday at the  federal high court in Ikoyi, Lagos  granted the final forfeiture of the $40 million of the asset jewelry.

The jewelry were recovered from her residence by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crime commission EFCC. Read story here.

Justice Nicholas Oweibo in his ruling said  the former minister would not prove beyond reasonable doubt why the  jewellery should not be forfeited indefinitely to the federal government.
