Dino Melaye loses out in the PDP primary in Kogi State

The primary election for PDP gubernatorial candidates in Kogi State may have come and gone, but not without some sour taste for senator Dino Melaye who was one of the candidate.

Engr Musa Wada scored 748 votes to clinch the party ticket and emerge flag bearer for the November 16 governorship election.

Abubakar Mohammed Ibrahim, the son of a former governor, Ibrahim Idris scored second polling 710 votes.

Capt. Wada, came third with 345 votes while Senator Melaye managed to clinch the last position with only  70 votes.

He also sustained knee injury,owning to the violence that erupted at the venue.
