Ex-Convict Attacks School Pupils With A Cleaver In A Revenge Attack Against Society
A cleaver-wielding man had attacked and killed eight school children in a Chinese primary school on the first day of resumption.
The attack occurred about 8am in Baiyangping Town in Enshi city, Hubei province.
The man who sources say is an ex convict murdered the pupils as a revenge against society after he was released from prison.
Two other students sustained injuries at the time of the the attack yesterday morning and are receiving medical attention in a hospital, police said.
The suspect who could only be identified as Yu, and about 40 years of age is currenting cooling off in police custody, following the bloody attack.
Yesterday was the first day of the new semester in China when pupils went back to class after a two-month-long summer break.
A thorough investigation is currently on going on the matter.
A source who spoke to China’s Southen Weekly revealed that Yu was released from prison June 2018, after more than eight years inprisonment for attempted murder.
The source also claimed to have seen the culprit parambuting aimlessly in front of the school gate prior to the attack yesterday.
