First case of Convid-19 recorded in Africa

Egypt has recorded the first case of  Convid-19 in Africa.

The North African country is now known as the first country in Africa to have a confirmed case of the pandemic.

Egypt minister of health and population  Hala Zayed confirmed the case  in a statement on Friday, although the nationality of the victim was not disclosed in  the statement.

The patient have been placed in isolation for treatment and monitoring.

The case has also been reported to the World Health Organisation (WHO) for the records.
