Golden throne only for royals and you


A solid 18 karat gold toilet will be installed in autumn at the Blenheim palace,Oxfordshire England home of the duke of Malborough.

The gold facility is a fully-functioning toilet,and vistors to the Palace will have the golden opportunity to access it whenever the need arises.

It will be in installed opposite the room in which Winston Churchill was born.

The rare wonder was made by artist Maurizio Cattelan in 2016,

In 2016, the artwork was installed at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, tons and tons of spectators’ estimated to be about 100,00 visited the Museum just to catch a glimpse of this beautiful work of human creativity.

 Edward Spencer-Churchill, Founder of the Blenheim Art Foundation,, said it would be a novelty – even for him.

“Despite being born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I have never had a s***on a golden toilet,” he told The Guardian.

“It will be an installed, working, usable toilet,” he added.

According to him,Security is a non issue,it will be beefed up.

Time is of essence when it comes to the use of the golden loo,visitors are advised to take their time without taking time.

“We’d like people to enjoy their time in there without giving them too much time, if that makes sense,” Mr Spencer-Churchill said.

The installation of this facility at the Blenheim Palace will undoubtedly serve as  part of an exhibition of Cattelan’s work

Other artist that has exhibited one work of art or another at the palace includes:Michealangelo Pistoletto,s  Lawrence Weiner,  Jenny Holzer ,Yves Klein and  Ai Weiwei
