Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar was in the news  some days back when she announced  the birth of her baby boy. According to her instagram account  her child was born on Friday, April 3, 2020.

She shared an image of a baby holding someone’ thumb, which some thought its her thumb, her colleagues and others who could not hide their joy sent their congratulations.

However, an American woman identified on her Instagram handle as the­_arielb, the true owner of the image,  called the actress out for using her photo. reports claim that the photo was for the­_arielb and not Halima’s.

She confronted the actress in her Instagram direct message, requesting to know why the actress stole her image as her own.

Abubakar explained to the woman that she only wanted to announce her baby’s arrival hence she googled for baby pictures and the image in question popped up.

Halima told the woman she never said the baby on the image was hers and she apologized to the woman, she also  promised to delete the picture from her page.
