“I am happy to be here—-Odion Ighalo says as his dream come true

Odion Ighalo is got butterfly in his stomach as it stands, shortly after he arrived Manchester he quipped that his move to Manchester United is a dream come true.

Ighalo joined  the red devils from Chinese Super League side, Shanghai Shenhua on loan.

Speaking to Sky Sports News upon his arrival, Ighalo, who is obviously elated said: “It’s a dream come true because since I was a kid I followed and dreamt of Manchester United.”

“But it is a reality now. I cannot say much more now until I get started.”

 “It’s been crazy. Obviously, I am happy to be in Manchester first of all. I am happy to be here and to work out with the team and finish very well this season.

Recounting his experiences before the deal pulled through he said: “The plan is to just chill today because I travelled a very long way from Shanghai to Manchester. Today is to just rest and tomorrow we start to work.”

Ighalo who is keen and eager to work and also very much on ground will reportedly earn about £130,000 (N62m) per week for the six months he will feature for Man U.

He is reported to be the  first Nigerian footballer to sign for the English club.
