IPOB leader Nnamdi Kalu’s parents will be laid to rest today 14 February

All is now set for the burial ceremony of the parents of IPOB leader Nnadi Kalu.

 Eze Israel Kanu and his wife, Sally  will be laid to rest today February 14.

The ceremony have been scheduled to hold at the family compound in  Isiama Afaraukwu in the Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State.

The Punch reported  that there was heavy presence of policemen at the command’s headquarters in Umuhia warming up for the burial.

However the state  Commissioner of Police in Abia State, Mr Ene Okon  during a final meeting with the elders of the three communities that make up Afaraukwu on Thursday at the command’s headquarters in Umuahia said  the presence of the policemen is  meant to maintain law and order at the funeral.

The also called on the elders’ to caution the Leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, to desist from playing propaganda with his parents’ burial or doing anything that will be detrimental to peace and tranquility in the area.
