Iranian Women Now Permitted To Enter Football Stadium, Their Team Beat Cambodia 14-0

The government of Iran has finally lifted the ban preventing women from entering its stadia, now that the ban has been lifted after over 40 years, the jubilant women were excited to watch a game of football between Iran and Cambodia on Thurday.

Thousands of Iranian women turned up at the stadium to watch their team play, and in celebration mood as  they beat Cambodia a massive 14-0.

The ban on women attending sports stadium in Iran is not unlawful, but was enacted  shortly after the Islamic Revolution forty years ago.

  FIFA and other women rights organisation pressed on the   government hence the ban was lifted, right now Iranian women are free to watch and enjoy the game of football.

They didn’t fare badly in their first outing, kudos to the Iranian women.
