The passing of Ghanian dancehall music sensation Ebony Reigns that occured february 2018 sent shock waves down the spine of Ghanaians, and non Ghanaians that loved her music.
She was in the company of her friend, Franky Kuri; bodyguard, Francis Atsu Vondee; and driver, Chartey Oko; on a visit to her mother Beatrice Oppong, and had to return to Accra late in the night, but this was not to be as the jeep they were travelling by collided with a VIP bus.
Everyone on board the jeep perished with the exception of the driver who sustained very serious injuries.
This year 2019 exactly one year after her demise, her father Starbwoy Kwaeteng organised a jollof party to honour his beloved superstar daugther.
A huge concert was also staged in her honour at the West Hills mall in Accra to mark the first anniversary of her death.
Her father Starbwoy Kwarteng who is known to be very fond of her shared two sad photos of Ebony’s finished tomb at the Osu Cemetery.
The tomb has a beautiful statue of Ebony placed on it.
Born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, Ebony died in a car crash on the Sunyani-Kumasi Highway. RIP
