Lyon Exonerates Deputy, Says He Is Not To Blame
The governor-elect of Bayelsa State, Chief David Lyon who was sacked by the supreme court has said his deputy Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo is not to blame over the recent development.
Chief Lyon also urged APC supporters to eschew violence as his direct reactions to the wide spread violence that followed after the supreme court verdict.
The Nation reports that Lyon described himself as a peacemaker and would never resort to violence over the judgement.
Douye Diri of the PDP was thereafter sworn-in as governor of Bayelsa State after INEC was mandated by the apex court to issue him certificate of return CoR.
The Supreme court denied David Lyon the right to be sworn-in as the new governor of Bayelsa state because according to them his deputy submitted forged certificate to INEC.
