Madagascar’s herbal tonic fails to cure Covid19 as confirmed cases continues to soar


Herbal concoction COVID Organics touted by the leaders of Madagascar for the prevention and cure of Coronavirus has reportedly failed.

According to reports by the BBC, hospitals are now struggling to cope with a surge of Coronavirus cases, cases have quadrupled in the past month in the country with more than 13,000 infections and 162 deaths from Coronavirus.

The World Health Organization (WHO)  had earlier warned against ingesting substances as a cure for coronavirus.

Despite the failure of the herbal tonic to prevent Coronavirus, President Andry Rajoelina is still advocating for its use as a cure for Covid-19 despite a spike in the number of confirmed cases.
