NIGERIA’s FG DECLARES PUBLIC HOLIDAYS FOR CHRISTMAS, NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS

The federal government has announced  that Wednesday, December 25 and Thursday, December 26, 2019 as well as Wednesday, January 1, 2020, as public holidays.

Permanent Secretary of the ministy of Interior Georgina Ehuriah.  made the statement on behalf of the minister Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola in Abuja on Wednesday.

The minister expressed confidence that 2020 would be a breakthrough year for all Nigerians.

 

The holidays are in commemoration of Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year celebrations respectively.
