NIN mandatory for all candidates——JAMB

The National Identity Number (NIN)  has been made mandatory for students seeking admission into any university of their choice.

This was disclosed by JAMB spokesman Dr. Fabian Benjamin, on Wednesday,

According to him, the NIN is a mandatory requirement for prospective candidates at the point of registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) registration.

“This is mandatory for participation in the 2021 registration exercise,” Benjamin said while announcing that JAMB has commenced registration for the 2021 exam,”

“Registration will take place in 700 centers across the country; the list is available in all the state offices of JAMB and on its website at www.jamb.gov.ng.

“The approved schedule for registration and examination is that registration exercise will start on Thursday, April 8 and end on Saturday, May 15, 2021.”
