Rochas Okorocha who was arrested by the police for reopening a property that was sealed by the state government has been released.
The former governor was released in the late hours of Sunday, February 21, after he was placed on detention at the state police headquarters and was also asked to respond to a complaint filed against him by the Imo State Government.
This was made known in an interview with the spokesperson for the state police command, Orlando Ikeokwu while featuring on Channels Television’sSunrise Daily’ program on Monday, February 22.
“He was released later at night. If anybody is found culpable, definitely, he will be charged to court. If the investigation proves that he (Okorocha) has committed an offense, he will be charged to court.
