President-elect Joe Biden thanks Americans for the honor to “lead our great country”

President-elect Joe Biden has appreciated  Americans for the honor done him by the American people.

An obviously elated Biden tweeted on Saturday saying he will be president for all Americans.

He wrote, “America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country.

“The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not.

“I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.”

Biden’s victory was sealed after the Democrat claimed several key battleground states won by the Republican incumbent President Trump in 2016.

Several media outlets, called the race in Biden’s favor, after projecting he had won the decisive state of Pennsylvania.

The media platforms reported that Biden beat Trump with a projected 284 electoral college votes to emerge the 46th president of the United States.

Biden was vice president for eight years in Barack Obama’s administration, he is the oldest candidate ever elected to the White House at 77.

Mr. Trump has alleged unsubstantiated claims of massive voter fraud, and his campaign has launched legal challenges in several states.
