Following the abduction of some students of  Government Science Secondary School, Kankara in the Kankara Local Government Area of  Kastina State, parents and guardians of the students has staged a protest today Sunday, December 13 to call on the Federal government to promptly secure the release of their children.

Unidentified bandits besieged the school’s premises in the early hours of Saturday, December 12, and kidnapped the children.

According to Unconfirmed sources about 600 of the students are yet to be accounted for.

The protesters were lead by a woman identified as the mother of one of the abducted kids.

The aggrieved protesters including parents of the victims carried placards with the inscription ‘Government must speak out’, ‘We want our children back’, and ‘We want security in Kankara.
