The embattled suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ibrahim Magu, who is under investigation by a presidential panel, has requested bail from custody on Friday.
He has been in FCID detention since Monday when he first appeared before the panel and has spent up to four days at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).
However, former senator Shehu Sani has reacted to Magu’s request to be granted bail from the custody FCID.
Sani opined that the former EFCC boss is asking for what he can’t give.
The presidential panel is probing Magu for allegations of misconduct leveled against him by Minister of Justice and Attorney-General Abubakar Malami.
