Activist and former presidential aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has criticized the national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for donating a whooping sum of N50million naira to victims of the fire disaster which razed Katsina Central Market.
Tinubu had on Wednesday donated the sum to assist the victims of the disaster which occurred on Monday.
According to reports, the national leader was accompanied by the State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari on a sympathy visit to condole with the traders and victims of the unfortunate incident.
In his reaction, the former aide took to his official Twitter handle on Wednesday to lampoon Tinubu over his donation stating that he did not donate one Kobo to the victims of the Sasa market crisis in Oyo State and the Ijesha market fire victim in Lagos State
He said, “Bola @AsiwajuTinu bu, who didn’t visit or donate one kobo to victims of the Sasa market crisis, or victims of the Ijesha market fire in Lagos, has today donated ₦50 million to victims of the Katsina market fire. Obviously, Tinubu’s charity does not begin at home.
