Toyin Abraham, now NCDC ambassador, replaces Funke Akindele


Embattled actress Funke Akindele has lost her endorsement deal with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), and so she can no longer serve as their ambassador.

She was replaced by another actress  Toyin Abraham who will henceforth serve as the agency’s  ambassador.

Abraham has already replaced Funke Akindele in the video adverts created by  (NCDC) for the campaign on Coronavirus (Covid-19) prevention, cause and spread.

Funke Akindele lost her deal, after she defiled the social distancing order imposed by the Lagos state government by hosting a house party to celebrate her husband JJC Skillz on his birthday.

She posted the video of the event on social media, and before you say jack, people began to troll her while calling for her arrest.

She  and her husband were  later arraigned before a court and sentenced to 14 days community service with a fine of a 100,000 naira each.
