President Donald Trump has rejected the outcome of the presidential elections, insisting that he won the election by a lot.
The US President in his Twitter rants shared on Saturday, November 7, in which he made unsubstantiated allegations of fraud and illegality in the voting process – all of which were labeled as disputed and potentially misleading by Twitter
CNN and other media outlets also reported that sources in the White House have disclosed that the President said he won’t be accepting the election result. They also disclosed that he will be challenging the election result in court from Monday, November 9.
With the election of the 46th president of the United State Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris, president Donald Trump has been denied a second term at the white house while Biden has been able to achieve a decades-long political ambition after a deeply divisive election defined by a once-in-a-century pandemic, economic turmoil, and unrest in the aftermath of the election.
Biden won the presidency by clinching Pennsylvania a very important battleground state that voted in favor of Trump in 2016, its 20 electoral votes were enough for Biden to clinch the white house after several days of painstaking vote counting.
. The win in Pennsylvania, which the Associated Press called at 11:25 am EST on Saturday with 99% of the votes counted, took Biden’s electoral college vote to 284, surpassing the 270 needed to be declared president.
