Your end will also come –Ayo Fasoye lampoon Obasanjo over Kashamu’s death

A former governor of Ekiti State Ayodele Fayose has condemned comment credited to former President Olusegun Obasanjo who took a swipe at late Senator Buruji Kashamu who died recently following Covid19 complications.

Mr. Obasanjo in the condolence letter to the deceased family said the late senator Kashamu used the instruments of law and politics to evade justice.

“The life and history of the departed have lessons for those of us on this side of the veil.

“Senator Esho Jinadu (Buruji Kashamu) in his lifetime used the maneuver of law and politics to escape from facing justice on the alleged criminal offense in Nigeria and outside Nigeria.

“But no legal, political, cultural, social or even medical manoeuver could stop the cold hand of death when the creator of all of us decides that the time is up,” the former president said while praying that Allah forgives Kashamu’s sins.

In a swift reaction to Obasanjo’s letter,  Fayose said that (he) Obasanjo will also face death one day and it would surprise him at what the people are going to write about him.
