Zimbabwean brutal leader Robert Mugabe dies at 95

The death of former dictator Robert Zimbabwe has been comfirmed today,he was aged 95. he died after  battling a protracted illness.

Mugabe was a ruthless and vicious dictator who crippled his own country ang government under a bloody reign of terror that lasted almost four decades.

He was hospitalised in a Singaporean hospital earlier in the year, for an unknown ailment.

During his time in government, Mugabe was a brutal tyrant who acted with an iron fist, the leader  who infamously claimed that ‘only God could ever remove him from office” was deposed in a coup when members of his  party deserted him after he dismissed then vice-president Emmerson Mnangagwa to make way for his wife, Grace.

Emmerson Mnangagwa is currently the president of Zimbabwe.

In a tweet by Mnangagwa on Friday he said: “It is with the utmost sadness that I announce the passing on of Zimbabwe’s founding father and former President, Cde Robert Mugabe,”

“Cde Mugabe was an icon of liberation, a pan-Africanist who dedicated his life to the emancipation and empowerment of his people. His contribution to the history of our nation and continent will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
